The Problem

The University of Oxford’s Earth Science Department had not had a photoshoot of the Department conducted since pre-COVID19 times. This meant that there was no new imagery to show to prospective students and supporters of the Department.

The Process

Once the Department reached out to us, the photoshoot was able to be arranged within a few days. Before attending the University, both parties had met remotely via video chat to discuss the deliverables and make suggestions regarding the best locations within the building to get what they needed – this meant that the time required to conduct the shoot on the day went as smoothly as possible, whilst also not taking away too much time from the Department’s resources.

The Solution

During the half-day shoot, over 100-high quality photos were captured, enhanced and provided to the University to use as they saw fit. Below are a selection of the images captured.

The Result

In summary, the project was a success on the basis that:

  • Oxford University’s Earth Sciences Department received a new library of high-quality photos as promotional media.
  • The Department continued to receive an extraordinary number of Undergraduate applications.
